Gonal F Injections….Not as bad as I thought!

Ok, I have to admit it took me about 10 minutes to inject my very first Gonal F injection on August 1st. But after I mustered up the courage to do it, it was not as bad as I was expecting! The needle itself is quite small, a lot smaller than the syringes that came with my IVF meds. So after the initial shock wore off and after the moment the needle pierced my skin, I realized the hardest part was over and all I needed to do was push the liquid into my subcutaneous tissue. It took all of about 10 seconds total and voila! I was done with my first IVF injection! And boy, I could not have been more relieved!
